About This Episode
What is this episode about?
The episode "MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF: Heather Turner" from Crime Junkie covers the death of Heather Turner, a woman found with a gunshot wound to the head in her Dallas, GA home in the early hours of May 4, 2017. Responding deputies initially treated the scene as a suicide, but questions soon surfaced about what had actually happened.
As investigators and those close to Heather looked closer, a different picture began to form behind what had appeared to be a picture-perfect marriage. The episode traces how the story behind closed doors diverged sharply from the public image, drawing on accounts from people who knew Heather, including Mary Alldredge and other friends and loved ones. Their recollections and observations form the backbone of the deep dive into the many unresolved questions surrounding her death.
