Murder Book: Michael Connelly's True Crime Podcast
Crime novelist Michael Connelly reconstructs homicide cases using wiretaps, witness interviews and investigators' own accounts.

Murder Book is a true crime podcast hosted by acclaimed author Michael Connelly. It digs into homicide cases that rarely attract attention from the major media, and it does so with the raw material of the investigations themselves.
Each season concentrates on a single case and draws on authentic investigative documentation — wiretap recordings, witness interviews, court records and first-hand accounts from the detectives who worked the file — to reconstruct both the events and the legal battles surrounding unsolved or unusually complex killings.
Season one, "The Tell-Tale Bullet", examines a 30-year-old murder connected to a car theft in Hollywood, and the drawn-out court proceedings that followed it.
Season two, "The Women Who Stopped Sam Little", follows the investigation that led to the arrest of Samuel Little, identified by the FBI as the most prolific serial killer in American history.
Each season is built as 12 chapters and closes with a listener question-and-answer round.
The podcast premiered on 28 January 2019. It is available free of charge on the major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and most podcast apps, and is distributed directly from Michael Connelly's official website.
