"Spionmordet i Kongelunden" ("The Spy Murder in Kongelunden") is an episode of the Danish true crime podcast Danske Drabssager, built around a secret communist network in Copenhagen, a suspected traitor who vanished without trace, and a body that was later dug up and disposed of. The case dates back to 1936, but Danish police did not learn of it until six years afterwards, during the German occupation of Denmark.

The episode is presented by police historian Anders Brandt Lundager, with historian Frederik Strand, head of Politimuseet, Copenhagen's police museum, as contributor. Together they work through a historical criminal case in which a network of communists in the Danish capital plays a central role, and where the breakthrough came only years after the events themselves took place.

This is episode nine of Danske Drabssager, a podcast in which crime reporter Stine Bolther normally takes real homicide cases from beginning to end, with an emphasis on the investigation, forensic medicine and forensic techniques. The series has more than 200 episodes, with experts who have been close to the individual cases contributing their knowledge. It is available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Within that framework, the Kongelunden episode stands apart. Rather than a conventional murder inquiry, it turns towards a case of a historical and espionage-tinged character from the period around the Second World War — one in which political loyalties, suspicion of betrayal and the concealment of a body are bound together, and in which the passage of time, rather than immediate detective work, shaped how the truth eventually emerged.
