The Officer's Wife: The Jessica Boynton Shooting

The Officer's Wife is a six-part investigative podcast series hosted by Brendan Keefe, an investigative reporter at 11Alive in Atlanta. The series digs into the shooting of Jessica Boynton in Griffin, Georgia, in 2016, examining the conflicting accounts and unanswered questions that still surround the case.

At the heart of the story lies a single, decisive question: did Jessica Boynton survive a suicide attempt, or was she the victim of an attempted murder? Working through the case in detail, Keefe revisits the physical evidence, the interviews and the circumstances that have left the matter shrouded in mystery and controversy.

The series is produced by VAULT Studios in collaboration with 11Alive, which is part of TEGNA. It combines gripping true crime storytelling with serious investigative journalism, building the narrative out of original reporting rather than speculation.

The Officer's Wife is available on platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Stitcher. The first two episodes were available from launch.
