Obscuritas: Danish Podcast on the Dark Side of History
Nationalmuseets podcast om danmarkshistoriens mørke hjørner

Obscuritas is a Danish podcast from Vores Tid, the National Museum's media house, about the dark corners of Danish history. Rituals, magic, curses, superstition and unsolved crimes are told from the very places where they happened, with the question of what evil is running through it all as a common thread.
## Hosts
Louise Lindblad is the host, and museum curator Poul Grinder-Hansen serves as narrator. The program draws on the National Museum's collections and research, and regularly features guests, including journalists and authors with special knowledge of a given case.
## Concept
Obscuritas is categorised as history, not true crime, but criminal cases are a recurring part of the program. In its sixth season, the podcast examined the 1948 double murder on Peter Bangs Vej with journalist and author Peer Kaae as a guest, and the question of whether the walking canes found beside the bodies of Inger and Vilhelm Jacobsen were part of a ritual.
The podcast is released weekly and has passed 100 episodes across 11 seasons.
