The Investigation: Inside the Kim Wall Case

The Investigation is a six-episode documentary series offering a unique look into the extensive police investigation of the Kim Wall case. The series follows the work of Danish police and prosecutors from the moment Swedish journalist Kim Wall was reported missing after her trip aboard the submarine UC3 Nautilus in August 2017.

The documentary series stands out by focusing entirely on the investigation and the police's methodical work, rather than on the perpetrator's perspective. The series gives no airtime to Peter Madsen, concentrating instead on the dedicated investigators who worked to solve the tragic case.

Through interviews with the police officers, prosecutors and experts involved, viewers gain a detailed insight into the challenges and breakthroughs that marked the investigation. The series also sheds light on the international cooperation between Danish and Swedish police, as well as the technical and maritime aspects of the case.

The Investigation emerges as a respectful and thorough account of one of Scandinavia's most discussed criminal cases, keeping its focus consistently on victim Kim Wall and the professionals' work to uncover the truth.
