Florence McLean

'A Disturbed Mind: Behind the Serial Killer's Mask' is Florence McLean's psychological study of serial offenders and the mechanisms that drive them. Published in 2025, it examines the recurring patterns and character traits that criminologists and psychologists have identified across decades of research.

"Serial Killer: The Human Behind the Monster" is a 2024 true crime book by Florence McLean about the psychological and social mechanisms behind serial murder. Rather than dwelling on the violence itself, it asks what shapes a person into someone capable of killing repeatedly.

"Opskriften på en drabsmand [1:3]" ("The Recipe for a Killer") is the opening episode of a trilogy in the criminal-psychology podcast I hovedet på…, produced by the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet. It follows Peter Lundin's arrival in Denmark in 1999, his meeting with Marianne Pedersen in Copenhagen, and the build-up to the killings in Rødovre.
