"Liget ved Skovtårnet: Det gjorde de efter drabet" ("The Body at Skovtårnet: What They Did After the Killing") is an episode of the Danish true crime podcast Sagen Genåbnet, which examines the case of two men convicted of interfering with a corpse after they drove the body of a 52-year-old business owner out to Skovtårnet — a forest tower near Rønnede in Denmark — and attempted to burn it.

The man was killed in September 2025. The case concerning the killing itself has not yet been decided: a separate man is charged with causing his death, and that trial is due to come before the court shortly.

Rather than the killing, the episode concentrates on what came afterwards — the hours and decisions that followed the man's death, and how the two convicted men tried to destroy the traces of what had happened at the site near Rønnede. Both were sentenced to three months for the offence known in Danish law as usømmelig omgang med lig, the improper or indecent handling of a dead body.

That sentence is the second strand of the episode. The nephew of the man who was killed says he struggles to understand the length of the punishment, and his reaction to the sentencing takes up a substantial part of the running time. It raises a broader question the hosts put to listeners: how the justice system weighs offences committed after a death against the unresolved homicide case at the centre of it all.
