About This Episode
What is this episode about?
The episode "Listen Now: Audible True Crime – Ghost Story" from American Scandal is a preview for a new series called Ghost Story, built around a hidden family secret, unexplainable events, and jaw-dropping coincidences. The series follows Tristan Redman, who doesn't believe in ghosts but experienced strange occurrences in his teenage bedroom. Years later he learns that previous occupants of his family home reported seeing the ghost of a faceless woman.
The coincidence driving the story is personal: Tristan discovers that his wife's great-grandmother, Naomi Dancy, was murdered in the house next door, killed by two gunshots to the face. The preview frames Ghost Story as a blend of unresolved family history and unexplained paranormal reports tied directly to that unsolved tragedy next door.
Hosts and release
Lindsay Graham hosts American Scandal, the Wondery-produced show normally dedicated to political corruption, financial crime, and abuses of power in American history. This short, 9-minute installment is a departure from that format, instead spotlighting Audible True Crime and its Ghost Story series as a cross-promotional preview. It was released on October 12, 2026, and is available on Apple Podcasts and other major podcast platforms, consistent with where American Scandal is normally distributed.
