Brought to the Brothel Days Earlier
Odom had been picked up from his home in Henderson, a suburb of Las Vegas, by Love Ranch staff approximately four days before his collapse. He arrived at the brothel on a Saturday and was found unconscious on Tuesday morning.
According to search warrants, Odom had overdosed on cocaine and other substances during his stay. Staff at the brothel reported that he had consumed cognac and around ten herbal viagra pills. The brothel's owner, Dennis Hof, later stated that Odom had told staff he had used a small amount of cocaine.
The 911 Call That Saved His Life
It was Love Ranch spokesperson Richard Hunter who called 911 after finding Odom breathing but unconscious, with fluid around his nose and mouth. The timing of that call proved critical to saving his life.
