Children of the Snow
Children of the Snow delves into one of Michigan's most tragic unsolved criminal cases. Between 1976 and 1977, four children from Oakland County were kidnapped, sexually abused, and murdered under circumstances that shocked the entire United States. The victims - Mark Stebbins, Jill Robinson, Kristine Mihelich, and Timothy King - were all held captive for days before their bodies were found carefully placed in public locations.
The Hulu documentary series examines not only the crimes themselves but also the many theories surrounding the killer's identity. It sheds light on serious investigative failures, political interference, and possible connections to pedophile rings operating in the area. Particularly striking is the series' focus on how the case affected the local community and the victims' families, who are still fighting for justice.
Through interviews with investigators, journalists, and family members, Children of the Snow builds a detailed picture of a case that remains unsolved more than 40 years later. The series raises uncomfortable questions about whether the truth was deliberately concealed, and whether the perpetrator is still at large.
