Solved – The Homicide Chief's Memoir

This book tells the story of Jens Møller Jensen's long career with Copenhagen Police, where he served as deputy police inspector and homicide chief. The central focus of the memoir is the so-called submarine case, in which inventor Peter Madsen killed Swedish journalist Kim Wall aboard his home-built submarine, UC3 Nautilus.

Jens Møller Jensen was the public face of the extensive investigation that unfolded in 2017. In the book, he offers readers a firsthand look at how police worked to solve the brutal killing, describing both the investigative challenges and the intense media pressure that surrounded the case from Kim Wall's disappearance on 10 August 2017 through to Peter Madsen's conviction.

Written together with journalist Stine Bolther, the book provides a personal account of one of the most widely covered homicide cases in Danish history. Møller Jensen shares his experiences and reflections from a lengthy career as homicide chief, in which the submarine case stands out as the most significant investigation he led.
