sulfuric acid

Torsten O. (Lutz Reinstrom) murdered two women he knew in Hamburg in 1986 and 1988, dissolving their bodies in hydrochloric acid in his home bunker. He was arrested in 1991 after a third, intended victim escaped, and he denied the killings throughout his 1995-96 trial. He remains in prison, serving a life sentence handed down in 1996.
