Wonderland Murders

Wonderland Murders & the Secret History of Hollywood is an exclusive Audible podcast hosted by bestselling author and investigative journalist Michael Connelly. The series revisits one of Los Angeles' most shocking unsolved crimes: the brutal 1981 mass murder in the Laurel Canyon neighborhood, which claimed four lives and has haunted Hollywood for decades.

Drawing on previously undisclosed documents, exclusive interviews with investigators and prosecutors, and testimony from a once-missing witness, Connelly untangles the complex circumstances surrounding the killings. The podcast goes beyond the crime itself to explore 1980s Hollywood — a world of underworld connections, corruption, and powerful figures whose involvement in the case has long been kept from the public.

With Connelly's renowned expertise in criminal investigation and storytelling, Wonderland Murders & the Secret History of Hollywood offers listeners a gripping deep dive into a case that has long fascinated true crime enthusiasts. The series premiered with two episodes on July 1, 2021, with new episodes released weekly thereafter — exclusively available to Audible members.
