About This Episode
What is this episode about?
The episode "BTK | Bonus | Susan Visits the Sites" from Monster: True Crime Podcast on History's Notorious Killers covers a bonus segment in which the production team travels to Wichita to walk through the real-world locations tied to the BTK story. Producers Gnoems Griffin and Jesse Funk meet with Susan on site, and together the three of them explore the places connected to the case, moving through the city rather than simply narrating events from a studio. The Susan Visits format frames the episode as a guided, on-location tour rather than a traditional recap, giving listeners a grounded, geographic companion piece to the show's main coverage of the story. Rather than new interviews or fresh research findings, the focus here is on physically standing in the spaces that shaped the case's history, letting the setting itself carry part of the storytelling.
