Atlanta Monster: Inside the Atlanta Child Murders

Atlanta Monster is a true crime podcast that examines one of the darkest chapters in Atlanta's history: the Atlanta Child Murders. Hosted by investigative journalist Payne Lindsey, the series documents the disappearances and killings of more than 25 African American children and teenagers during the 1970s and 1980s.

The podcast takes listeners through a detailed investigation in which Lindsey revisits the cases, uncovers overlooked details and searches for answers on behalf of the victims' families. Spanning 56 episodes across two seasons, the series combines archive material, interviews and on-the-ground reporting in an effort to shed new light on these tragic events.

Atlanta Monster is produced by Tenderfoot TV in collaboration with iHeartPodcasts. It places the stories of the African American victims at the centre of the narrative, while raising fundamental questions about justice, institutional failure and closure for the families left behind.
