The Channel 5 documentary delves into one of Britain's most baffling disappearance cases, one that has captivated the public for more than three decades. On 28 July 1986, estate agent Suzy Lamplugh left her office in Fulham to show a property to a person listed in her diary only as 'Mr Kipper'. She was never seen again.

The documentary reviews the many theories and leads investigated over the years. Particular focus falls on John Cannan, a convicted serial killer and rapist whom police have long suspected of being behind Suzy's disappearance. Cannan, however, always denied any involvement, even after being sentenced to life imprisonment for other crimes.

The film sheds light on the massive investigation, which included numerous excavations and hundreds of witness statements, yet never produced a breakthrough. Suzy Lamplugh was officially declared dead in 1994, but her body has never been found.

Through interviews and archive footage, the documentary offers a nuanced portrait of a case that changed safety practices for estate agents across Britain and that still guards its secret to this day.
