The Last Season

Eric Blehm investigates the 1996 disappearance of veteran backcountry ranger Randy Morgenson deep in California's Sierra Nevada wilderness, launching an extraordinary search across remote terrain. Part wilderness mystery and part intimate character study, the book explores a deeply solitary man whose lifelong devotion to the mountains finally consumed him entirely in the range he loved.
