What is the series about?
Amy Bradley Is Missing (Netflix, 2025) is a documentary series that in its first episode, 'The Disappearance', reconstructs the fateful hours in March 1998 when 23-year-old American Amy Bradley disappeared during a family vacation. The series, produced by Ari Mark and Phil Lott, closely examines the events aboard the Royal Caribbean ship Rhapsody of the Seas. Through interviews with the family, including brother Brad Bradley, and previously unseen archival material, the production sheds light on the many unanswered questions that have plagued the case for over 25 years. The documentary particularly focuses on the last sightings of Amy and the subsequent years of leads that point towards a dark underworld in the Caribbean.

Her brother, Brad, saw her sitting on the cabin's balcony before he fell asleep. When their father, Ron Bradley, woke up at 5:30 AM, he saw Amy sleeping in a lounge chair on the balcony. But just half an hour later, at 6:00 AM, she was gone. Her cigarettes and lighter were left behind, but Amy had disappeared without her shoes.
The family has for years pointed suspicion at crew member Alister 'Yellow' Douglas, who was the bassist in the ship's band. Douglas had been seen dancing with Amy just hours before her disappearance, and the family felt his behavior was suspicious. Although the FBI has investigated Douglas and other leads intensively, no charges have ever been filed in the case. One of the most controversial aspects of the case, which is also addressed in
