Between The Madness: Canadian True Crime Podcast Series

Between The Madness is a true crime series from Canada, hosted by Tyler Allen, who examines current homicide cases with an emphasis on the perpetrator's state of mind and the consequences for those left behind. The series is not a standalone podcast but is released in the same feed as the parent podcast The Minds of Madness, which has been running since 2017.

Tyler Allen is the creator behind both The Minds of Madness and Between The Madness. He produces the podcast from the Toronto area and, through the parent series, has built an archive of more than 500 episodes covering homicides, disappearances, and the psychology behind violent crime.

## Concept

While The Minds of Madness often tackles older, closed cases, Between The Madness follows cases that are current or still working their way through the courts. Among the cases the series has covered are the murder of influencer Beauty Couch and the deaths of Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan.

Episodes are released roughly every other week and are shorter than those of the parent series. The tone is sober and narrative-driven, without sensationalism, and each episode ends with a look at where the case stands today.
